What does sustainability at Joy Luck look like?
Sustainability is a journey we take very seriously. We’re constantly looking for ways to be more Earth-friendly, but here’s what we’re doing so far:
- All of our jewelry boxes are made of 100% post-consumer recycled paper with FSC/SFI certified fibers (SFI requires companies to monitor impacts of management on conservation areas and FSC protects areas of high conservation value forests. via forests.org)
- Many of our designs incorporate vintage jewelry materials
- To reduce waste, avoid overproduction, and allow for custom sizing, we always hand-make pieces to order or in small batches.
Do you do custom sizes?
Yes! Sizes that are listed for each product, particularly necklaces, anklets, and bracelets, are based on "standard" jewelry sizing, but we know that standard can be limiting and harmful. Our goal is to make unisex pieces that you feel good in, and everyone's body is unique and beautiful. If you'd like to request a custom size, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll do our best to accommodate. Price adjustments may apply.
Can you repair pieces that were purchased from Joy Luck?
Yes! We believe in extending the lifetime of pieces through regular care and the occasional repair when needed. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping and a repair fee. Contact us at email@example.com to start the conversation.
How long does shipping take?
Please allow 1-2 weeks for the production of your pieces, and typical USPS shipping times in addition to that (approx. 4-8 days domestically). We ship your product as expediently as possible, but we also want to ensure you receive the highest quality made-to-order pieces. Unfortunately, delays in shipping and tracking may affect your order due to COVID-19. We are closely monitoring all deliveries and will do our best to assist with any questions. Internationally shipping may vary, refer to your shipping confirmation for tracking updates.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Costs are dependent on your location and (for international customers) selected carrier. Also for international customers, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Joy Luck is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
Do you ship internationally?
We offer international shipping to Canada. Please feel free to reach out to us for any country-specific requests. Thank you for your patience as we navigate the world of taxes, customs duties, currencies, translations, and international shipping.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 15 days of the delivery date. The product must be in its original condition, unused, unworn, and in its original packaging with the receipt or proof of purchase. Shipping is non-refundable, and customers are responsible for their own return shipping.
What is your refunds policy?
Once we receive your return, we will notify you immediately and inspect the product. Approved returns will be refunded to your original method of payment within a few days, depending on your issuer's processing policies. The cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
